Earth Stewards Series: Food Waste 101

  • The Zeal Center for Learning 47 Maple Avenue Sodus, NY, 14551 United States (map)

Welcome to the Earth Stewards Series!

In this series, we'll discuss ways that we can be better stewards of the Earth that benefit us (financially, health wise, emotionally, mentally and environmentally) and benefit everything around us!

To kick it off, our first workshop will be food waste 101. We'll talk about:
- How to get more bang for your buck - eating more from the food that you purchase
- Giving a second life to food and food waste - think super low cost cleaning products, using scraps to make everyday staples and delicious recipes that you never knew existed from food that you normally toss!
- Creative and fun ways to reduce packaging on your next shopping trip
- Recipes to take home and ideas to start your own low waste kitchen journey!
